You’re preparing for birth – have you prepared for what comes next? Take this class before your baby arrives for an in-depth look at the realities of life with a new baby. You’ll get great information on each of the following themes and develop hands-on skills and a list of local resources and supports for your parenting life.
Baby Care: diapers, bathing, health basics, soothing techniques, and infant development.
Infant Feeding: the basics of breastfeeding and formula feeding, and answers to common questions and concerns.
Sleep: understand normal infant sleep and safe sleep recommendations, and learn strategies to get everyone the sleep they need.
Self Care: recovery from birth, finding the new normal and meeting the needs of the whole family.
A 4 week class offered in partnership with the YWCA Regina
Mondays from 7-8:30 pm, starting October 2. Please note that we will not meet on October 9 due to the Thanksgiving Holiday. Dates for this class are: October 2, October 16, October 23, and October 30.
Cost: $150 plus taxes. This rate is per family, so includes the birthing or expectant parent and up to two support people (partner, mother, doula, etc.)
