You’re preparing for birth and your baby's arrival – have you prepared for what comes next? This class for expectant parents offers an in-depth look at the realities of life with a new baby. You’ll get great information on each of the following themes and develop hands-on skills and a list of local resources and supports for your parenting life.
Baby Care: diapers, bathing, health basics, soothing techniques, and infant development.
Infant Feeding: the basics of breastfeeding and formula feeding, and answers to common questions and concerns.
Sleep: understand normal infant sleep and safe sleep recommendations, and learn strategies to get everyone the sleep they need.
Self Care: recovery from birth, finding the new normal and meeting the needs of the whole family.
This is a one-day intensive class. Presented in partnership with the YWCA Regina.
Cost: $150 plus taxes - this rate is per family, so includes the birthing or expectant parent and up to two support people (partner, mother, doula, etc.)
